How can leaders maintain maintain global visibility across a complex fleet?
Leadership teams and field representatives needed a clear, real-time picture of their worldwide fleet. With assets deployed across multiple continents, operational updates often arrived late or through fragmented reports, making it difficult to monitor asset status, respond to issues, or communicate efficiently with customers. Our defense partner wanted a solution that could present key operational insights (e.g. asset locations, conditions, and activities) in a way that was both immediate and intuitive.
The Solution
Leadership Dashboard: Turning Global Fleet Data into a
Real-Time Map
Empact extended its existing Empact Digital Field Service technology to create a Leadership
Dashboard tailored to executive needs. The core feature is a dynamic world map view which displays every aircraft in the fleet, showing location, operational status, and activity in real time. Leaders can now instantly see where their helicopter are and whether helicopters are in operation, under maintenance, or in storage, all from their iOS devices.
This innovation was inspired directly by the customer’s president, who envisioned “putting the overview in their pocket.” Working closely with the customer, Empact designed and implemented the map-based dashboard, seamlessly integrating it into their existing mobile ecosystem. The result is a modern command tool that merges operational insight, sales support, and leadership visibility into one intuitive platform.

With the new Empact Leadership Dashboard, executives and field teams now have instant access to the information that matters most. The real-time map provides an accurate, global snapshot of the fleet’s condition and distribution, replacing spreadsheets and delayed reports with live operational data. The solution has improved coordination between departments, enabled faster decisions, and strengthened the customer’s ability to support their own clients worldwide.
