The agreement was set in motion by the Industrial Participation efforts related to Denmark's procurement of the F-35 Lightning II, which is powered by Pratt & Whitney's renowned F135 engine, which is the safest, most capable and reliable fighter engine in operation.
“Empact’s ability to innovate and enrich our processes was key in their selection for this project,” said Kinda Eastwood, vice president for F135 Sustainment. "This collaboration will improve efficiency, helping increase support for operators worldwide.”
Pratt & Whitney, entrusted with powering the F-35, has chosen Empact to further enhance operational efficiency. Empact will develop a cutting-edge Deployment Management Tool (DMT) designed to streamline internal coordination across Pratt & Whitney. This tool aims to improve efficiency, identify bottlenecks early, and pave the way for smoother deployment processes.
"We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with Pratt & Whitney on this transformative project," said Jacob Gliemann Larsen, Director of Defense at Empact. "The DMT we are developing will not only benefit Pratt & Whitney, but will also set new standards in deployment management that can be adopted by other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the future."
This collaboration underscores Empact's commitment to innovation and its strategic vision for advancing deployment technology. Looking ahead, both companies anticipate expanding their collaboration across various initiatives.
